A place to share bulldog stories and educational resources
It's me, Barkley! is a Bulldog lifestyle website dedicated to providing education and resources to those of us who are owned or want to be owned by a Bulldog. We share tools and resources every pawrent can use to help care for their Bulldog and we provide links to Bulldog rescues where you can help support the breed through fostering, adoption, and donations. Additionally, we have a Chapel where you can pay tribute to your loved one who recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Hi Everybody! It’s me, Barkley! Welcome to my site! Let me start by introducing myself and telling you a little bit about me.
My name is Barkley, and I am an 8-year-old English Bulldog. In 2021 I was surrendered to a wonderful organization called Bulldog Haven Northwest (BHNW) and placed with a foster family who later adopted me. I call my mom “The Lady”, and my dad “Mr. Dave”. More about all that in future posts.
The Lady and Mr. Dave are awesome pawrents who have helped me address some behavior challenges which, I will be sharing stories about our journey in my blog. You can also go to “About Us” to learn a little bit about us.
When I was a foster, The Lady started sharing stories about me on Facebook and talked about developing a blog so we could share more stories. Well, the time is finally here!! We plan to use this site as a platform to share stories about my adventures, tools we’ve used to address my behaviors, the fun we have fostering other BHNW bulldogs, and eventually, we’d like to share some of our favorite products. We also hope to one day add podcasts, so we can help educate others on the benefits of adopting rescues, more about bulldogs, talk about behaviors, and whatever else we can share.
Thank you for following us!
